I don’t have any info about this rare bus. It most likely remained just an experimental prototype. It seems its based on ZIS-150 truck.

This is much improved version of GAZ-24–10.  These pictures are made by me and the car belonged to my father for a short amount of time. It has driven about 100 000 km but looks like new.

GAZ-M-23 Engine

Produced 1964 — 1970.  This is KGB version of GAZ-M-21. Russian secret service needed a fast car to for example escord GAZ-M-13 Chaika limousines. None of the existing machines were able to match its speed so a new car had to be created. So GAZ-M-21 was matched with Chaika engine and the result was the fastest production car at that time. Total 603 units were produced andof course it wasn’t available to private buyers.

The car had even worse hangling than original Volga and the engine was clearly too heavy. Thats the reason the car wore out very quickly and since it couldn’t be sold to private buyers its nowdays extremely rate. In this page is a list of survived GAZ-M-23 cars (scroll down).
