Pro­duced in 1959. It was designed for invalids of the Sec­ond World War. It has 0,5 liter two-cylinder engine and auto­matic gear­box. It was only pro­duced as exper­i­men­tal model — it never went into mass production.

GAZ-M-21 Volga

Pro­duced 1956–1970. Its more known by its famous name Volga and its one of the most famous Soviet cars.

There are many mod­i­fi­ca­tions of this car (some with more pow­er­ful engines). These will be added here later. Some Vol­gas had auto­matic gearbox.

There was also KGB ver­sion GAZ-M-23 and estate ver­sion GAZ-M-22.

Pro­duced 1950–1959 (First pro­to­type was already built in 1948). Total 21 527 units were pro­duced. Three copies of con­vert­ible GAZ-12 were built for the gov­ern­ment elite. Also ambu­lance was built and it was named GAZ-12B

Pro­duced 1941–1948. Dur­ing war pro­duc­tion of GAZ-11–73 was halted (1942–1944). There is also con­vert­ible ver­sion named GAZ-40. GAZ-11–41 picup ver­sion was also planned but only pro­to­types were made. Instead new model GAZ-M-415 was pro­duced. Total 1250 GAZ-11–73 cars were produced.
