Produced 1936-1942. Its based on 1933 Ford-V8-40 but was first soviet car engineered to withstand local roads. It has hydraulic suspension and new better shock absorbers. Name M-1 comes from the foreign minister V. M. Molotov (Molotov-no. 1). It was the furst russian car to have automatic ignition and adjustable front seats. Because of letter M it was often called “Emka”. In 1939 engine ventilation holes were modified. Total 62 888 units were produced.

Produced in 1936. Its a 6×4 pickup truck based on GAZ-M-1 chassis (modified), it has cabin and gearbox from GAZ-AA, cargo section from GAZ-4, fenders, radiator grill and wheels from GAZ-M-1. Interestingly this truck has little support wheels between first and second axis to help help the car go over bigger obstacles. GAZ-21 was just an experimental model, it was never mass-produced. Only few unites were produced.

Produced 1936-1945. Its based on GAZ-AAA. This wasn’t a regular passenger bus (it was built just for 9 passengers) but it was produced for special needs, only 237 units were produced. After war (1942) the designt of the bus was simplified as many other vechicles. For example bumper and one headlight was removed.
