Produced 1984–2006. Its third generation of VAZ cars, also known as Lada Samara and Sputnik. Its looks seem to be inspired mostly from Wolkswagen Golf II. Its firs VAZ that has front wheel drive and its much more economical than older VAZ cars. Also interior was much more modern.
