GAZ-AA sim­pli­fied version

Pro­duced 1932 — 1938. Wheels 4x2. Its based on Ford AA truck. It was made as light­weight as pos­si­ble. There are many mod­i­fi­ca­tions of GAZ AA like firetruck, pris­on­truck, ambu­lance etc. All­to­gether over 1 mil­lion units were built.

Dur­ing the WW2 sim­pli­fied ver­sion was built to save mate­ri­als. For exam­ple it only had one head­lamp and its roof was made of canvas.
